and quick to resolve our issues when we had any. The complex itself is clean and well maintained. They have a heated pool, jacuzzi, a small gym, and plenty of community events where you can meet and mingle with your neighbors, and a security guard at night (the police station is also right down the street also). Had we not bought a home, we would have definitely renewed our lease. Never had any issues with noise or our neighbors and just felt it was a pleasant place to call home. I would highly recommend it.

patios etc.) for an affordable price. They have everything you need, heated pool, spa, gym, and friendly neighbors. The interior doesn't have granite countertops but who needs that crap when your rent is cheap AND you have a washer/dryer. Definitely a solid "in between" the fancy $2100/month apartments. Why pay so much when Ralston has everything you need. The beach is 5-10 minutes away and there's a lot of great restaurants in the area. Angela and the staff will ensure that your stay is a pleasant one. I highly recommend Ralston Courtyards

is very clean and well maintained. It is named Courtyards because that is how it is designed. Beautiful courtyards with fountains, lots of trees and very quiet. I have a 1 br on the 2nd floor. It is very safe and the sun shines on the balcony/patio all day. The breeze from the beach is fabulous, and when it gets warm there is a great ceiling fan in the living room to cool you off. The kitchen is quite spacious for a 1 br., as is the bedroom, bath, and walk-in closet. This complex is close to everything! Shopping you can easily walk to, freeway close, but no noise. Take a right on Main St. and you are in downtown within 5 minutes!! Honestly, if you are new to Ventura as I was and you want to live in a friendly, happy place, Ralston Courtyards is the place for you!!!

20 minutes to park, this place is great! ALWAYS a place to park! We are in the process of moving out for a job relocation to another state, but we were lucky enough to get a 2nd floor unit with no one directly below us; just car ports and storage.

about how nice and new they are. We have really enjoyed living here and have never had problems with management or maintenance. The location is great! Super close to the freeway, shopping centers and my favorite place- Trader Joe's! I highly recommend checking out the apartments if you're looking for somewhere to live in Ventura.

a problem with my appliances, it was fixed within a day or two. The complex is beautiful, nice pool, nice roomy apartments, but I am forced to leave. Also, there is no sound insulation in the walls or ceiling. I can literally hear my upstairs neighbor's cell phone vibrating. The only reason why I am moving out is because this is the second year in a row that they are raising the rent on me $100+. I was paying $1425/month for the 1-bedroom. Last year they raised it to $1530 and if I were to renew in May, it would have been $1637/month. Um, screw that. I'm moving to Colony Parc where I'll be paying $1470/month. Let's see, $1470/month or $1637/month? Yeah, I'll take $1470.

and the amenities were great. The unit was very clean upon move-in and I loved having a small patio outside my front door. I was steps away from the pool, which I used often. I see only three negatives. First, the water is hard; all glasses and dishes I owned ended up with mineral spots and gritty stains and chemical treatments in the dishwasher didn't work. You have to hand wash with lemon juice or vinegar and hand dry immediately to avoid this. Second, the lack of air conditioning, although in fairness I only really needed it in about 4 weeks of the year. Third, the south complex (between the pool and Victoria) is much better than the north, from what I have heard from others. I lived in the south section and loved it. I didn't have issues with neighbors' noise.

without air conditioning. If your going to build a brand new complex, PUT AIR CONDITIONING IN THE APARTMENTS!!! Other than that, we truly enjoy living here. Close to the 101 and easy access to major roads in Ventura. Pool area is great. Staff is helpful. Probably the best apartment community in Ventura

were so patient and kind to us. We also had our wedding at the on site club house and thanks to them it was perfect! I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone who wants fast quality service and a nice place to live!! The amenities are wonderful with the free Coffey and tea for you and your friends as well as the nice gym and pool/ BBQ area. We will both miss Ralston Courtyards!!

and spacious for a one bedroom. Love the huge kitchen and bathroom. My only peeve about the apartment itself is that they put the laundry on the patio instead of inside, which can be inconvenient, but at least I have my own laundry. The ladies in the management office are always friendly and helpful, and best of all, always remember me by name, which I appreciate. The maintenance men (I've met two, not sure if there are more) are competent, do a great job and are always friendly (which was definitely not the case at the last place I lived!). My neighbors are a different story . . . I don't know how, but I always end up living next to someone that likes to sit on the patio while smoking and shouting on their cell phone. Very annoying. Worse than that is that my next door neighbor is a chronic door slammer who always stomps up the stairs. The front doors of the apartments require slight effort to close them and apparently this is too much for this person, so instead they throw the door shut, which is not only loud and annoying but makes everything on my closest facing wall shake. I've never actually seen this person and I hate them. If I could relocate my neighbors and trade them for people who realize that others exist in the world besides them, this apartment would be just about perfect.

pool with my gradkids and at the same time barbequing our favorite meals. I'm also enjoying the club house with free wi-fi, so when I do have problems with my internet, it's nice to just go there. I have dropped my gym membership since I moved in last Febuary so I'm saving $. Everyone here is so nice from the gardner, the nice cleaning ladies in the morning and especially the staff. I love that I'm in walking distance from everything that I possibly need. My family and friend are very impress when they visit! I would recommend Ralston Courtyards to anyone that's looking for a nice place to rent.

initial problems (my bathroom shower bar was broken; the dryer wasn't hooked up to the gasline) and they were fixed within one day. I like the clubhouse (free wi-fi) and the gym with its cable and 42" flat screen TV. I like that there was a storage unit with my garage parking space. Also, there wasn't a lot of chemical smell from paints and carpeting when I first moved in: I suspect they used low-smell paint or aired it out really well. My only complaint is that the water is seriously hard here -- they did warn me about it, but I've never seen anything like it. It means that there's white spotting on my glassware from the dishwasher which even JetDry can't seem to combat, and the same white spotting in the shower and on the faucets. However, that's my only complaint. Otherwise, it's a safe and well-managed facility. It may be a touch on the pricy side, but well worth it. I'm glad I live here.
